DBA Challengers Mission Project

The Dallas Baptist Association Challengers participated in a mission project at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Encampment – Camp Chuala. There were a total of 14 men and young men (7th – 12th grade) who camped out on Friday night and Saturday and prepared a Camp Craft area to be utilized throughout the year for camp craft training.

Challengers March Madness 2011

The Challengers State Basketball Tournament was held in Belton, Texas on March 5th, 2011.  Ten teams from five associations participated in the two seperate tournaments for Junior High and High School age Challengers.

The Challengers Basketball Tournament was held in Belton, Texas on March 6th, 2010.  A total of twelve teams participated in both the Challengers II (Highschool) and Challengers I (Junior High) tournaments.

Challengers II State Basketball Tournament

The Challengers State Baketball Tournament takes palce annually on the first Saturday in March.  The tournament is open to high school age (9th - 12th grade) young men who are a member or an associate with a local church.

Challengers in Nicaragua

On July 20th four Challengers from Green Acres Baptist Church left on the Texas Baptist Men's summer mission trip to Nicaragua. This year's project was to complete water wells at several churches. Part of the church planting strategy, used among the Miskito people in north eastern Nicaragua, is to have a functioning water well on the church property.
