The Challengers State Basketball Tournament was held in Belton, Texas on March 1st, 2008.  Eight teams participated in the basketball tournament.  Click below for more information concerning the tournament.

The Challengers State Baketball Tournament takes palce annually on the first Saturday in March.  The tournament is open to high school age (9th - 12th grade) young men who are a member or an associate with a local church. 

On July 20th four Challengers from Green Acres Baptist Church left on the Texas Baptist Men's summer mission trip to Nicaragua. This year's project was to complete water wells at several churches. Part of the church planting strategy, used among the Miskito people in north eastern Nicaragua, is to have a functioning water well on the church property.
