This year’s Cedars will be held from Friday noon, August 22 through Sunday noon, August 24, 2008. It will be held at the relatively new Lakeview Encampment owned and operated by the Assemblies of God in Maypearl (near Waxahachie), Texas.
Before you make a decision about attending, we encourage you to go to their website at www.lakeviewconference.net. Take a look at the facilities with the motel rooms, conference center, cafeteria and an incredible place to spend time with God.
This year’s speakers will be once again, Henry Blackaby, Richard Owen Roberts, and 
Greg Frizzell.
Bro. Don Miller will lead us in the early bird times with God beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning prior to the breakfast time.
We believe that it is time to once again refocus on II Chronicles 7:14 as the message for this year’s Cedars.
As it stands now, there will be at least seven distinct messages centered around; 1) If My people, 2) Called by My name, 3) Will humble themselves, 4) Will pray and seek My face, 5) Will turn from their wicked ways, 6) Then will I hear from Heaven, and 7) 
Will forgive their sin and heal their land. These messages, along with specific worship times and times alone with God will take care of our time frame from noon Friday the 22nd of August through noon Sunday the 24th of August, 2008.
The rates are a little different from what they have been in the past but from looking at the camp and the quality of food, etc. that will be served, we believe the cost is well worth moving to this new location.
We will be limited in the number of people that can be hosted for this year’s Cedars and we would encourage you to register early if you would like to attend.
The enclosed form gives you information we need for you to register by mail.

For those of you who are traveling and need to know what time everything starts, registration will begin Friday morning at 9:00am with lunch being served at noon. Cedars will conclude with a lunch on Sunday.
