Recently officials have discovered arsenic and mercury poisoning in the water supplies. Such contaminants are severe health hazards to the residents. Retired IMB missionary doctor Lee Baggett, who continues to live and minister in Mexico, knew of Texas Baptist Men’s experience with water purification in other parts of the world, contacted TBM and has requested assistance in helping to purify the water supplies.
