The Challengers Basketball Tournament was held in Belton, Texas on March 6th, 2010. A total of twelve teams participated in both the Challengers II (Highschool) and Challengers I (Junior High) tournaments.

FBC of Gresham decided to hold a car wash in an effort to raise money to purchase water filtration systems to be sent to Haiti. We appreciate Bro. Roy Thoene, Tony Lyons and the community of Gresham for their labor of love to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The Texas Baptist Men have sent a team of four to Haiti to assist North American Missions Board.
All of the 5,000 water purification systems have arrived in Haiti and have been distributed to the earthquake victims.

As of today January 29th, 81 pallets left the Dixon Building on trucks headed to Florida and then on to Haiti. God has opened a door for these water filtration systems to reach the people of Haiti. This shipment consisted of 2 pallets of assorted medical supplies and 79 pallets of the water purification systems. As of 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon 5 of our men have arrived in Haiti. Please keep these men in your prayers.
