Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

- John 17:3
What Are You Searching For?

AS A MAN, A HUSBAND, A FATHER, A CHRISTIAN,

WHAT ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR?

1. Are you searching for a closer walk with God? _____

2. Are you searching for a meaningful time in the word of God? _____

3. Are you searching for a way to serve God in ministry? _____

4. Are you searching for faith, patience, how to wait on God? _____

5. Are you searching for a more fulfilling prayer life? _____

6. Are you searching for another way to hear God speak to you? _____

7. Are you searching for God’s direction in your life? _____

8. Are you searching for a way to resist temptations? _____

9. Are you searching for a greater degree of accountability with other men? _____

10. Are you searching for a religious life or a love relationship with God? _____

11. Are you searching for a new way that you can relate and respond to God? _____

12. Are you searching for a spiritual process that completes your whole life,

not just a part of it? _____

The Bible is a divine, God-inspired book about all kinds of people who were searching, asking questions. God did not nor did Jesus answer all the questions that people had, many of them were religious leaders. Very often God chooses to reveal Himself to you and your questions are resolved.

I believe that all men are continually searching for answers to the above questions and possibly many more. Where do you find the answers that satisfies and that gives you a divine perspective? Consider these scriptures:

1. Psalm 139:23 “Search me, O God, and know my heart.”

2. Jeremiah 17:10 “I, the Lord, search the heart and examine the mind.”

3. I Peter 1:10 “Search intently and with great care.”

I believe that God could answer all our searching questions as we as men come together for the men’s retreat and allow God to reveal Himself to us. If our ultimate search is for God, He will not disappoint us.

“Men of Judah (your church) be strong and courageous, for your work (your search) will be rewarded.” From II Chronicles 15:7
